The White Hall Classroom Building is located in central campus next to the Patterson Office Tower on Patterson Drive. It houses classrooms, labs, and the campus post office.  It was completed in 1969 on the site of White Hall, the original dormitory building of State College, and the old Carnegie Library and named for James White, professor of mathematics and vice president of the University.
