Bronze Bust
Created shortly after the death of Henry Clay, this hollow bronze bust is a small example of the work of noted sculptor Henry Kirke Brown. The rear of the sculpture is inscribed "H.K. Brown Sculptor July 1852," and it was a gift from the Nicholls family to the University in 1948.
Another copy of this bust is located at the United States Senate, which has a web page devoted to this subject here.
